Detection of Babesia species (B. gibsoni, B. canis, B. caballi) by real time PCR.

Detection of Bacillus anthracis, the causative agent of anthrax, by culture.
One or more of the following:
Identification of a wide variety of bacterial pathogens in companion animals by aerobic and anaerobic culture.
Identification of acid-fast bacterial pathogens by acid fast stain / differential stain.
Identification of bacterial pathogens requiring an anaerobic environment by culture.
Classification of bacterial organism based on Gram stain characteristic.
One of the following:
Detection of lungworm larvae by the Baermann method.
Measurement of bile acid concentration by automated analyzer. References are available for 2-hours post-prandial blood samples or fasted blood samples.
