| Sampling Requirements | Each sample must be labeled with a number and a species only. Do not include exhibitor names on the sample or the paperwork. Sample containers must be secured with evidence/tamper tape. Place evidence tape over the lid, not around the lid, taking care to not conceal the sample ID. | ||||||
| Collection Container | Serum: remove from red cells and place in an additive free container. Urine or feces: sealed, leak-proof container. All samples must be sealed with security tape to maintain chain of custody. | ||||||
| Packing Instructions | Label all samples. Ship overnight on cold packs. | ||||||
| Special Instructions | Quantitation of a positive sample can be performed for an additional $75.50. Confirmation testing for ractopamine will result in an additional $27.00 fee. | ||||||
