
Dr. Edwards graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in applied biology in 2009. After graduation, Dr. Edwards went on to earn a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia in 2014. She completed her residency training in anatomic pathology and earned a Master of Science in biomedical science from Texas A&M University in 2017. Dr. Edwards is also a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists.
In addition to mammalian cases, Dr. Edwards has a focus on avian pathology. Her diagnostic interests include fungal and parasitic infections as well as zoo, exotic, wildlife, and companion animal species.
