Dr. Fu earned a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and a Master of Veterinary Medicine from National Taiwan University in 2007 and 2009, respectively. Following graduation, he earned a Doctor of Philosophy from Cornell University in 2018. During his PhD program, his work focused on the understanding of carcinogenesis in the gastric squamous-columnar junction. He continued this work as a postdoctoral research associate for an additional year following the completion of his program. Fu completed his anatomic pathology residency at Oklahoma State University.
