Initial Training for New Testers
The Texas Pullorum-Typhoid (PT) Program currently boasts over 300 certified testers. All individuals interested in becoming testers are required to attend certification training. Trainings are scheduled throughout the year based on interest and the need for more testers. If you’re interested in joining the email distribution list, complete the potential tester questionnaire.
Flock owners in need of PT testing can contact a current authorized using the online roster or by contacting the nearest regional TAHC office.
Veterinarians interested in becoming certified to test for PT should contact the PT Office at pt-program@tvmdl.tamu.edu.
