Trypsin-Like Immunoreactivity Protein – Feline [Referral]

Referral tests are not performed at TVMDL; a processing and delivery/handling fee will apply.

Measurement of trypsin-like immunoreactivity (TLI) to diagnose exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI) and aid in the diagnosis of pancreatitis.

1 mL fasting serum

12 hour fasted sample is required. Avoid hemolysis.

Remove from red cells and place sample in an additive free transport tube.

Label all samples. Ship overnight on cold packs.

TLI is available at TVMDL in canine samples only. TLI testing requested on feline samples, or any TLI request in conjunction with Pancreatic Lipase Immunoreactivity (PLI), is referred to the Gastrointestinal Laboratory (GI Lab) at the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences (VMBS).

Prices listed for tests performed outside TVMDL may not include referral lab accession fees and are subject to change without notice. In addition, testing cost may vary depending on other tests requested (i.e. a variety of panels are possible). A processing and delivery/handling fee is added to all referral tests.
