Porcine Enteric Coronavirus Multiplex (rtPCR)

Detection of porcine enteric coronaviruses including porcine epidemic diarrhea virus (PEDV), transmissible gastroenteritis (TGE), and porcine deltacoronavirus (PDCoV), by real time PCR.

One or more of the following: 

• 1-2 g feces
• 1-2 mL intestinal content
• 1-2 g fresh intestine

Fresh samples provide the most accurate results. Samples collected within the first 24 hours of the onset of diarrhea are preferred.

Sealed, leak-proof plastic bag or container.

Label all samples. Ship overnight on cold packs in an insulated container.

This test does not detect the COVID-19 strain of coronavirus.
