Dr. Mays can provide information related to drug testing in racehorses, greyhounds, livestock show animals and routine diagnostic testing such as the Equine Pre-Purchase Drug Screen. He is also knowledgeable and trained to provide information related to mycotoxins, toxicities associated with forages and grasses, poisons and many other toxicology-related questions. He also serves as a subject matter expert in microscopic identification of toxic plants in GI contents. He is the Analytical Chemistry Section Head, a section that comprises drug testing and toxicology.
