CBC – Small Animal

1 mL EDTA whole blood and 1-2 air dried slides.

Peripheral blood smear should be prepared at the time of collection.

EDTA tube (purple top) and slide container.

Label all samples. Ship overnight on cold packs. Protect samples from direct contact with cold packs.

Lithium heparin is not a preferred sample type but may be utilized, if needed.
