Texas A&M AgriLife has announced the 2023 recipients of the Vice Chancellor’s Awards in Excellence. Among those honored are two professionals from the Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory (TVMDL).
TVMDL Veterinary Diagnostician Guy Sheppard, DVM, was awarded the Diagnostic Service Award in the Service Category. Sheppard joined TVMDL in 2016 and has since developed a reputation for his commitment to serving TVMDL’s clients. This year, Sheppard was also awarded TVMDL’s highest recognition, the Director’s Excellence Award.
Rodney Lemburg, program coordinator in the operations department, was awarded the Business and Operational Staff Award in the Staff Category. Lemburg has been a loyal employee of TVMDL since 2005. Over his tenure, Lemburg has become a trusted resource for almost any job across the College Station laboratory. He is known for a common-sense approach to problem and addressing issues proactively to ensure the success of TVMDL’s employees.
