The Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory (TVMDL) is pleased to announce the addition of Necropsy – Companion Animal Neonate to the test catalog. This addition is for post-mortem examination and dissection of neonatal companion animals that are seven days old or younger to harvest tissues and determine a cause of death.
Necropsy – Companion Animal Neonate is more cost-effective than TVMDL’s traditional companion animal necropsy offering for clients who are interested in examinations for multiple animals within a litter. The offering is $100 for the first animal and an additional $40 for each additional animal from the same litter.
Test: Necropsy – Companion Animal Neonate
Test Code: 1535
Price: $100 for first animal, $40 for each additional animal from the same litter submitted at the same time.
Turnaround: This test is performed at the College Station and Canyon laboratories Monday through Friday with results in one to four business days.
