Feed Tag Test (Proximate Analysis) [Referral]

Referral tests are not performed at TVMDL; a processing and shipping fee will apply.

Measurement of nutritional components in feed to include moisture, dry matter, crude fat, crude protein, crude fiber, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, ash, calculated total digestible nutrients (TDN), net energy for maintenance (NEm), net energy for gain (NEg), and net energy intake (NEl). 

1 lb. feed

Submit a representative sample of the entire ration.

Sealed, leak-proof plastic bag or container.

Label all samples.

This test is performed at the Servi-Tech Laboratory in Amarillo, TX or Dodge City, KS. Prices listed for tests performed outside TVMDL may not include referral lab accession fees and are subject to change without notice. A processing and shipping fee is added to all referral tests. Turnaround times vary depending on shipping time and the referral lab’s schedule.
