Special Instructions

The testing schedule reflects days that extractions are initiated. Samples must be received in the testing section by 3:30 pm the day prior to scheduled test day, otherwise samples will be held until the next scheduled test day. Turnaround time represents the estimated number of business days needed for complete extraction, sample preparation, instrument analysis, quality review, and data interpretation.

Samples deemed suspicious from initial screening will be subject to confirmatory testing. This may add an additional 1-3 days to the listed turnaround time, depending on the availability of reference standards through approved vendors and the complexity of required analytical and extraction methods.

TVMDL is temporarily unable to screen for bambuterol in hair/feathers.
