An authorized testing agent will be responsible for his/her own supplies. To research the cost of these supplies, please see the testing supply vendors’ page.
Training is approximately 4 hours long and will start at 10:00 AM. There will be one or two 15 minute break(s) and there will not be a break for lunch. Please bring a snack and/or drink as needed.
Training will consist of:
- Texas Pullorum-Typhoid Program Requirements
- Rapid Whole Blood Testing and Hatchery Fluff Sampling
- Biosecurity for Poultry
- National Poultry Improvement Plan in Texas
- Positive and Negative samples
Currently there are no trainings scheduled for 2020. Due to the current outage of PT antigen in the United States, trainings have been tentatively postponed. Once the PT antigen is available, dates and locations for 2020 trainings will be announced.
