Detection of antibodies to Blastomyces, Coccidioides, and Histoplasma, by agar gel immunodiffusion (AGID); and antigen to Cryptococcus neoformans by latex agglutination. All techniques can be used for diagnostic purposes.
Detection of antibodies to Blastomyces, Coccidioides, and Histoplasma, by agar gel immunodiffusion (AGID); antibodies to Coccidioides, Histoplasma and Aspergillus by complement fixation (CF); and antigen to Cryptococcus neoformans by latex agglutination. Cryptococcus is tested at 1:2 through the endpoint titer; the CF tests are tested at 1:8 through the endpoint titer.
Measurement of heavy metals by inductively-coupled plasma/mass spectrometry. Targets for mammalian species include lead, arsenic, cadmium, and thallium. If zinc testing is desired, please see Metal & Mineral Panel. A $11.25 sample preparation fee will be added to tissue specimens.
