Panel of tests including T4, TSH, and FT4. Together these results allow further characterization of low T4 from hypothyroidism, drug effects, or euthyroid sick syndrome.
Measurement of T3, T4, TSH, FT4-ED, and TgAA. Together these results aid in diagnosing animals with clinical signs of hypothyroidism but equivocal T4 or basic thyroid profile results.
Detection of antibodies to common tick-borne pathogens by indirect fluorescent antibody test. Targets include Ehrlichia canis, Rickettsia rickettsii, and Borrelia burgdorferi. Performed at 1:64, 1:128, 1:256, 1:512, 1:1024, and 1:2048 dilutions.
Detection of tick-borne pathogens by real time PCR. Includes Rickettsiales species (Ehrlichia canis, E. chaffeensis, E. ewingii, Rickettsia rickettsii, Anaplasma phagocytophilum); Borrelia species (B. burgdoreferi, B. hermsii, B. parkeri, B. turicatae); and Babesia species (B. gibsoni, B. canis, B. caballi).
Follow up test for TVMDL’s toxin screens to provide quantitation for carbamates, cantharidin, ethylene glycol, glycolic acid, or metaldehyde. Measurement is performed by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry.
