The Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory, TVMDL, has added an oral biopsy offering. This test is geared towards dentists, oral surgeons, oncologists, and general veterinarians with a dental interest and is most useful in cases where there is the submission of clinical photos and imaging (radiographs/CBCT) for the full evaluation of oral pathologic disease. Images will be fully evaluated and are pertinent when evaluating oral pathologic disease along with a thorough clinical history.

Turnaround Time: This test is performed at the College Station laboratory Monday through Friday with results in 2 to 4 business days.
Price: $83; Biopsies from additional sites from the same animal on the same accession are $26.75 each.
