Each year TVMDL works alongside approximately 6,000 clients as they work toward various animal health decisions. Becoming a TVMDL client is free, easy, and gives you access to over 165 professionals dedicated to serving you.

Who are TVMDL’s clients?

TVMDL’s clientele is diverse. We work many types of individuals dedicated to protecting animal health. However, TVMDL requires all clients be the veterinarian, authorized submitter, designated caretaker, or owner of the animal from which the sample was derived. If TVMDL suspects the client does not meet this requirement, TVMDL will attempt to confirm the owner has granted permission to test samples. 

The Texas Veterinary Licensing Act prohibits TVMDL from releasing any case information to persons other than the TVMDL Client (Submitter) without prior approval from the Client.

Before we start…

To begin the testing process, potential clients must complete the New Client Form and return it to our Finance section. New Client Forms can be completed in person at any TVMDL lab, faxed to the Finance section at 979.458.3260, included with your first submission, or mailed to the address below:

When will I receive a bill?

When testing on each submission is complete, you will receive a final report and a record of charges associated with that case via email. Please wait until the end of the month and utilize your final monthly invoice to pay your account. All payments will be applied to the oldest charges first.

A final monthly invoice is sent on the first working day of each month via email. It will provide the activity on your account for the prior month. The balance of your bill will be due by the end of each month to avoid finance charges. Finance charges of .833% per month (10% annual rate) are assessed on all outstanding charges older than 30 days.

It is important when submitting any payment to reference your TVMDL account number, either by enclosing your monthly payment stub, or including the account number in the memo section of your payment. TVMDL accepts VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express credit card payments. Credit card payments may be made online through your TVMDL Client Portal, or by phone at 979.458.3207. TVMDL reserves the right to deny service to any account with past due balance or with a delinquent payment history.

All test results and billing correspondence is sent via email. Account holders also have secure, online access to a client portal to access case reports and invoices, as well as pay bills. 

If credit card information is not provided, test results cannot be released until payment has been received. This could delay results. Providing credit card information enrolls you in TVMDL’s automatic payment program and ensures your results are sent immediately upon completion. Credit cards will be charged on or before the last business day of the month for all charges incurred that month. 

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • State of Texas Government Code 403.031(c), 2107.004, and 403.055 requires state agencies to collect client information in the event of delinquency.
  • Services provided by TVMDL are subject to the terms and conditions set below. Any modification of such terms will void this form. Submitting this form does not guarantee approval.
  • The balance of each final monthly invoice is due by the last day of each month to avoid finance charges of 0.833% per month (10% annually). Payment must be received prior to the next billing cycle, which is the first working day of each month.
  • Accounts will be suspended for all balances 60 days past due. 
  • It is the client’s responsibility to keep TVMDL’s files updated with the most current billing address and phone number. TVMDL must be notified of a clinic’s change of ownership.
  • Payments are accepted online via the client portal, via phone with Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express, and by check or money order via mail. Please mail payments to the College Station laboratory only.
  • Payments are applied to the oldest charges first, not on an individual charge basis.
  • TVMDL reserves the right to revoke charging privileges and discounts to include when an account balance is 60 days past due.
  • Final monthly invoices will only be delivered to the billing email address listed above.
