Semira Mancill, DVM, DACT, joined the Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory (TVMDL) in College Station as a veterinary diagnostician on August 19.
Mancill is a three-time graduate of Texas A&M University. In 2001, she graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in animal science and in 2005 she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. In 2009, Mancill completed a residency in the Department of Theriogenology and in 2010 became a board-certified member of the American College of Theriogenologists.
Mancill comes to TVMDL from Equine Partners Veterinary Services where she has served as an associate veterinarian since 2020. In her role as a veterinary diagnostician, she will couple her 19-plus years of practice and teaching experience to assist TVMDL’s equine clients in testing guidance, result interpretation, case coordination, education, and outreach.
