The Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory (TVMDL) is pleased to announce the addition of Avermectins (LC/MS) to our catalog of tests. This test serves to assist in the detection of avermectins, such as abamectin, doramectin, eprinomectin, ivermectin, moxidectin, and selamectin, by liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry (LC/MS). Accepted samples for this test are feces, source material, adipose (fat), brain, liver, or kidney. Samples should not be fixed in formalin, but rather frozen upon collection.

Species: Avian, Bovine, Camelid, Canine, Cervid, Equine, Feline
Turnaround Time: This test is performed at the College Station laboratory Monday – Friday with results in 2 to 5 business days.
