January 18, 2019 by Mallory Pfeifer

Clinical Pathology Section Head Julie Piccione, DVM, MS, DACVP will lead a webinar on how to take photomicrographs using a smartphone on January 31 at 7 p.m. (CST). Kendal Harr, DVM, MS, DACVP of Urika Pathology will co-lead this presentation.

Drs. Piccione and Harr will discuss tips and techniques for using smartphones to capture photomicrographs that can be used for client education, internal medical records, and diagnostic purposes. Services, such as TVMDL’s Digital Cytology evaluation, rely on quality submission photos for an accurate diagnosis.

Digital cytology provides rapid evaluation of photomicrographs by TVMDL professionals within one hour of submission.
