The Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory (TVMDL) now offers a bovine coronavirus (BCoV) virus neutralization test for the detection of antibodies to BCoV in serum samples. The virus is associated with both respiratory disease and diarrhea in calves and winter dysentery in adult cattle. It is also implicated as a possible contributing etiologic agent of bovine respiratory disease complex (BRDC) in cattle.
