TVMDL diagnosticians greet veterinarians and answer questions at Southwest Veterinary Symposium

From left, Dr. Matt Cochran and Dr. Robert Sprowls answer questions about diagnostic medicine from veterinarian James Wright and wife Sherry during the Southwest Veterinary Symposium in Dallas.

Over the weekend, TVMDL used the Southwest Veterinary Symposium in Dallas as an opportunity to touch base with veterinarians from across the region.

This year, we sent Dr. Roger Parker, deputy agency director; Dr. Robert Sprowls, resident director of TVMDL’s Amarillo facility; Dr. Matt Cochran and Dr. Terry Hensley, assistant agency directors; Dr. Bill Gilmore, pathologist at the Amarillo lab; Dr. Sandra Lovering, branch chief for pathology in College Station; and Stacy Morris, chief of staff.

Our team distributed materials addressing pigeon fever in Texas horses and a guide that is especially popular with technicians: “How to ship a sample to TVMDL.”

They answered questions and concerns from customers about veterinary diagnostics and about getting the most from their relationship with TVMDL. They also introduced veterinarians and technicians to TVMDL’s new mobile friendly web site.
